Great, so her tummy looks flat now, is she going to become a super-model now? How about donating this money to orphans instead? How about saving that money for her children’s education?

It’s normal for swelling to last a few months. don’t worry about that. If you’re still swollen after 6 months, then worry.

I dont think my doctor follows this to avoid problems of additional weight loss after the operation which would effect results.

I am a male and I have lost 130 pounds through diet and excercize over a 14 month period. My surgeon will be doing an abominolplasty on me this Autumn. He wanted my weight stable for 4 months before he does the sugury and insists his patients are nicotine free for 2 months before any surgury.

Please tell me how painful that was to go through? I’m in the process of losing allot of weight myself and I’m so scared of this operation.

Being from Brazil and having two plastic surgeons in my family, staples in Abdominoplasty is hardly used because Brazilian doctors have come to an agreement that staples do leave terrible scarring.
